Just in time for the end of the first half of the year 2018 we want to announce the latest news concerning the review journal RIDE:

Peer Reviewers

Since 2014, RIDE has published a total of 45 reviews of digital resources, each of which underwent a double-blind peer review process before publication. The peer review process is an essential part of quality assurance within RIDE. We would therefore like to thank all peer reviewers who have supported the publication of the previous issues of the journal with their time and expertise. A list of all previous peer reviewers can be found here. The list is updated every 3-4 issues to ensure the anonymity of the peer reviewers.

Editorial Board

The second announcement and acknowledgment concerns the editorial board of RIDE which we have recently expanded. Besides the members of the IDE, we are pleased to welcome the following external board members and would like to thank them already now for their support:

James Cummings (Newcastle University)

Wout Dillen (Universiteit Antwerpen)

Greta Franzini (Universität Göttingen)

Elena Pierazzo (Université Grenoble Alpes)

Anna-Maria Sichani (University of Sussex)

Peter Stadler (Universität Paderborn)

Jeffrey Witt (Loyola University Maryland)

What‘s next?

  • An issue with reviews of digital text collections is already in the pipeline for publication.
  • An issue with reviews of digital scholarly editions that focusses particularly on editions of letters is also in the making.
  • We’ve recently compiled a summary of all the data gathered so far in the questionnaires that can be found on GitHub: https://github.com/i-d-e/ride/tree/questionnaire_data.

Enjoy the summer and, as always, the RIDE!
